Orsak:Oslo (Nordic Psychedelic Doom / Schweden)
Orsak:Oslo spielt eine melancholische Mischung aus Psych, Kraut, Post-Rock und Doom mit sanften, fuzzigen Melodien und einer spürbar nordischen Atmosphäre.
Die Band wurde von Christian aus Göteborg, Schweden, und Øyvind aus Oslo, Norwegen, gegründet.
Ihr Debütalbum „In Irons“ schlägt seit seiner Veröffentlichung im April 2023 hohe Wellen und erhielt hervorragende Kritiken von The Obelisk, Everything is Noise, Luminous Dash, Echoes and Dust und vielen anderen renommierten Publikationen. Das Album hat sich außerdem in zahlreichen Playlists platziert, darunter auf „Roadburn: Essential Sounds“ des Roadburn Festivals und in Weedians „Best Releases of the Week“.
Seitdem rockten sie, angetrieben vom Erfolg ihres Debüts, die Bühnen von Freak Valley, GIDEM (dem internationalen Branchentreff von Border Music), Desertfest London und Desertfest Oslo. Außerdem begleiteten sie King Buffalo (USA) auf einem kurzen Teil ihrer EU-Tournee 2023.
