Lady Lazarus are an all-female and non-binary punk rock band who exploded onto the Australian punk scene in 2023. With a sound that’s a volatile cocktail of grunge, old school punk, and riot-grrrl swagger, Lady Lazarus are impossible to ignore. Described as “never less than ferocious, never further away than right up in your damn face." (Underground Stage). Delivering performances that are not just loud and unyielding, Lady Lazarus isn’t just turning heads; they’re twisting necks.
In just under a year, Lady Lazarus has achieved remarkable milestones: releasing their debut EP "Blondes," performing at the Great Southern Nights festival and FANGZstock, and opening for LA's Death Valley Girls on their Australian tour. They were also finalists in Sydney’s Good Things competition. In 2024, they hosted a full capacity show at Red Rattler Theatre, uniting punk bands across NSW and raising over $1500 for charity. Their recent 6-week tour through Wollongong, Sydney, Newcastle, Port Macquarie, and Melbourne’s iconic Cherry Bar solidified their reputation as a live performance powerhouse.
Their debut singles have garnered over 15,000+ streams on Spotify and Apple Music combined.

Die Musik von VEØTA geht rein wie sonnengewärmtes dänisches Fußpils im Winter. Meist deep und manchmal trashig, meist auf deutsch, selten auf englisch. Auf jeden Fall Punk. Melodische Gitarrenriffs, Texte, die ruhig zu verstehen sein dürfen, auch mal aggressiv - aber ja nicht allzu kompliziert. Ob’s zum Pogen reicht? Werden wir sehen.
